As VPR Mining continues to expand its global footprint, we are seeking accomplished Geologists with proven experience in Gold, Silver, Copper, and Nickel mining projects.

We are looking for professionals with expertise in:

- Mineral exploration
- Resource and reserve estimation
- Mine geology and grade control
- Geological modelling
- Drill planning and interpretation
- Collaboration with mining and processing teams

Role Description The Senior Exploration Geologist will lead exploration activities, including planning, executing, and supervising geological fieldwork and data collection.

Responsibilities include conducting detailed geological mapping, overseeing drilling programs, performing core logging and sampling, and coordinating geochemical analysis to define mineralization and resource potential. The role involves interpreting geological and geochemical data, preparing technical reports, and providing input to resource estimation and mine planning teams.

The Senior Exploration

Geologist will also mentor junior geologists,



ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards, and collaborate closely with operations and management. This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, with field visits to project locations as required.

International project experience will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Geological Mapping and field-based structural and lithological interpretation.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Logging and Core Logging for exploration and resource evaluation.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Drilling oversight, including coordination with drilling contractors and sampling protocols.
- Candidates should possess applied knowledge in Geochemistry, including sample preparation, assay interpretation, and anomaly identification.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, or Earth Sciences.
- Significant experience in mineral exploration and resource evaluation, preferably in large-scale contract mining environments.
- Proficiency in geological software, GIS tools, and data management systems used for exploration and modeling.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
- Commitment to safe work practices and familiarity with environmental and regulatory compliance in mining.
- Ability to lead teams, mentor less experienced staff, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
