Role Description The Senior Engineering Manager at Yosi Health is a full-time hybrid role based in Coimbatore, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position is responsible for leading and mentoring engineering teams, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-based healthcare technology solutions. The role includes collaborating with product management and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, setting engineering standards, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable software releases.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve guiding architectural decisions, managing project timelines and resources, conducting code and design reviews, and driving continuous improvement in development processes and team performance.

onboarding, performance feedback, and fostering an inclusive, outcome-focused engineering culture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership in managing software engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and creating an inclusive, cooperative environment.

Strong experience with modern software development practices, such as agile methodologies, CI/CD, code review processes, and test automation.

Hands-on background in designing and building scalable, cloud-based applications and APIs, preferably within SaaS or healthcare technology environments.

Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and related frameworks, with the ability to provide technical guidance and make sound architectural decisions.

Experience working with integrations to third-party systems and data platforms, ideally including EMR/EHR or other healthcare information systems.

Ability to translate product and business requirements into engineering roadmaps, prioritize work, and manage timelines and resources effectively.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across product, operations, and customer-facing teams.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Background in healthcare or regulated industries, and familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance considerations, is a strong plus.
