Role Description The Senior Doctor role is a full time, on-site position based in Tiruvallur.

The Senior

Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up, with a focus on community health and preventive medicine.

Responsibilities include supervising junior medical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating with nursing and allied health teams to deliver quality care.

The Senior

Doctor will participate in health camps, outreach programs, and health education initiatives in rural and underserved areas. The role also involves supporting the development of healthcare processes,



contributing to continuous quality improvement, and collaborating with the organization’s leadership on healthcare-related projects.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent) in a relevant specialty is highly preferred.

Valid registration with the appropriate medical council and eligibility to practice medicine in India.

Several years of clinical experience, ideally in community health, primary care, or hospital settings serving diverse populations.

Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills.

Ability to supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and medical support staff.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including fluency in English; proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.

Commitment to ethical medical practice, compassion, and a strong motivation to serve marginalized and rural communities.

Experience with health camps, public health initiatives, or NGO/charitable healthcare work is beneficial.

Good organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate patient records and reporting outcomes.

Willingness to work on-site in Tiruvallur, participate in field visits when required, and adapt to resource-limited settings.
