Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade database solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of SQL development, ETL processes, performance tuning, OLTP systems, and database optimization, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient database solutions. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and SQL queries Develop and manage ETL workflows using SSIS Analyze and optimize existing SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical database solutions Ensure data validation, data quality,



and governance standards across systems Collaborate with application and frontend teams to provide required database objects and integrations Support and maintain OLTP systems ensuring high availability and transaction efficiency Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks Participate in database schema design, indexing strategies, and normalization Monitor and optimize query execution plans, indexing, and resource utilization Maintain proper technical documentation for database processes, ETL workflows, and business logic Support release management and deployment activities for database changes Mandatory Skills

Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Advanced proficiency in: Stored Procedures Functions Views Triggers Complex SQL Queries Strong experience in: SQL Performance Tuning Query Optimization Execution Plan Analysis Index Optimization Experience working with OLTP / transactional database systems Strong understanding of: Data Validation Data Quality Data Governance Ability to convert business requirements into optimized database solutions Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good to Have Skills

Experience with Azure SQL or cloud-based database platforms Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts Exposure to Power BI or reporting platforms Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database deployments Familiarity with application or commerce platforms Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Computer Science Information Technology Data Engineering Related technical field Required Experience

6 to 8+ years of experience in SQL Server database development Strong enterprise-level experience in: Database Engineering SSIS Development Performance Optimization OLTP Systems Key Competencies
