Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in designing, building, and optimizing data solutions for the US education industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, data modeling, ETL processes, and hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI. .

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows across multiple systems.

- Work with stakeholders in the US education domain to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-optimized data models.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to build dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry regulations and institutional reporting requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Analytics, IT) to support datadriven decision-making.
- Monitor, troubleshoot,



and improve data infrastructure and workflows for high availability and performance. Candidates should possess robust Data Engineering skills, including building scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and optimizing performance.

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, focusing on automation, data quality, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications • 12–15 years of professional experience in data engineering, ETL, and database development.

- Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, optimization, indexing, stored procedures).
- Proven experience working with data in the US education industry (student information systems, enrollment data, compliance reporting, accreditation, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise with Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and BI best practices.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or GCP BigQuery).
- Knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data processing frameworks is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills • Familiarity with IPEDS, state/federal reporting standards, or other US education regulatory frameworks.

- Exposure to data governance frameworks and master data management.
- Experience in API integrations and handling large-scale structured/unstructured data.
