This role is based in Saudi Arabia

Lead cost accounting and cost control across a large-scale steel manufacturing operation, reporting directly to the CFO. This role owns product costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and cost optimization initiatives, with a team of 4 direct reports and 10 total staff.

Key responsibilities:

- Drive cost transparency and accuracy across production processes
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and cost control policies
- Partner with Operations, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain on working capital and inventory turnover initiatives
- Deliver KPI dashboards, MIS reporting, and executive-level analysis
- Manage relationships with external auditors and ERP consultants
- Build and mentor a high-performing costing team

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Accounting; CMA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA highly preferred
- Minimum 15 years in costing, manufacturing finance, or operational finance
- At least 5 years in a senior role within steel or heavy manufacturing
- Robust SAP/ERP, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and advanced Excel/BI skills
