? Hiring: AEM Assets Developer – Adobe DAM & Content Supply Chain

We are seeking an experienced AEM Assets professional to support and lead the development, governance, integration, and optimization of enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. The role combines hands-on AEM development with DAM platform ownership to enable scalable content operations, asset sharing, workflow automation, and seamless integration across marketing, eCommerce, service, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain AEM Assets components, workflows, services, and DAM capabilities.
Configure metadata schemas, taxonomy, rendition profiles, asset ingestion pipelines, and publishing workflows.
Build and maintain Java-based backend services using Sling, OSGi, HTL, JCR, APIs, and AEM workflows.
Lead DAM governance including naming conventions, access controls, compliance, and asset lifecycle management.
Design and support integrations between AEM Assets and enterprise platforms including Adobe Workfront, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce, CMS platforms, eCommerce systems, and internal applications.
Enable secure and scalable asset sharing across marketing, eCommerce, service platforms, enterprise applications, and partner ecosystems through AEM Assets and DAM integrations.
Support asset reuse, archival management, application-to-application asset sharing, and migration initiatives including transition to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
Ensure DAM solutions are optimized for AEMaaCS migration, mobile compatibility, Dynamic Media delivery, cache management, and high-performance asset distribution.
Optimize DAM performance,
scalability, asset delivery, caching, Dynamic Media integrations, and repository health.
Maintain compliance with global content governance, regional regulations, and enterprise standards while empowering marketing and business teams with productive asset access and utilization.
Collaborate with marketing, creative, IT, and business stakeholders to align DAM capabilities with enterprise Content Supply Chain objectives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, technical documentation, training, and adoption initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets / DAM implementations.
Strong expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, JCR, APIs, workflows, metadata modeling, and asset management capabilities.
Experience with AEM Cloud Service / AEM 6.5 architecture and migration considerations.
Familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, including Workfront, Analytics, Sites, and Creative Cloud integrations.
Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of asset delivery optimization, Dynamic Media, cache management, and enterprise-scale content distribution.
Ability to lead technical discussions, governance initiatives, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Adobe AEM Assets Developer Certification is preferred.
