Purpose of Job: This role is designed to build specialised in-house capability within the Legal & Compliance function at HBSI. The position will support critical areas including Responsible Business Conduct (RBC), Data Privacy, BCM, and Governance frameworks, ensuring robust ownership, audit readiness, and alignment with Heineken’s global standards. Accountabilities:
Key Activity: Ethics & Compliance (RBC Framework)
Support implementation and ongoing management of the Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) framework
Administer and track
Speak Up program
Heineken Disclosure processes
Third-party risk management platforms (Ethixbase, SHINE)
Drive awareness initiatives and compliance trainings
Result: Promote a robust culture of ethics, integrity, and responsible business conduct across the organization.
Key Activity: Privacy & Data Protection
Support compliance with DPDPA, GDPR, and group privacy frameworks.
Conduct privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk reviews.
Assist in data governance, breach response, and documentation.
Coordinate with IT, Security, and global privacy teams.
Result: Ensure effective privacy governance and compliance with applicable data protection requirements.
Key Activity: Issues & Crisis Management (BCM)
Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework
Maintain and update: Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
BCP Testing & Disaster Recovery (DR) plans
Assist in crisis preparedness, testing, and incident coordination
Result: Strengthen organizational resilience and readiness to respond to business disruptions and crises Key Activity: Legal Support to Risk Management
Provide inputs into enterprise risk management processes
Support maintenance of: Legal risk registers, Risk mitigation tracking
Ensure legal and compliance risks are appropriately identified and escalated
Result: Support proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of legal and compliance risks.
Key Activity: Compliance Tools & Governance
Support implementation and management of Compliance Tracking Tools
Track and monitor
Statutory compliance obligations
Compliance dashboards and reporting
Improve visibility, traceability, and audit readiness
Result: Enhance governance, compliance oversight, reporting, and audit readiness across the organization.

Exposure to global corporate compliance environments is mandatory.
Candidates must demonstrate practical experience in compliance-driven functions rather than pure legal practice.
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB)
Preferred
Company Secretary (CS) qualification
Certifications in Data Privacy or related compliance areas Experience:
Required
Preferred experience range: 3 to 7 years
Minimum experience: 3 years Preferred:
Experience in RBC / Ethics programs, Privacy frameworks, or BCM preferred
Experience in multinational / GCC / regulated environments or Big 4s preferred Skills/Competencies:
