Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion at AK Construction and Builders. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and involves leading project planning, design, and execution, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and site teams, and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality.

The Senior Civil

Engineer will also perform site inspections, resolve technical issues, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.



Collaboration with stakeholders and transparent documentation of project progress will be expected.

Qualifications Strong background in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to develop and review structural and infrastructure plans.

Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, providing technical leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary project teams.

Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control for civil construction projects.

Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, including drainage, sewer, and water systems.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

Hands-on experience in building and infrastructure projects, preferably in residential and commercial construction.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations applicable to civil works in India.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar), and prepare technical reports.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.

Prior experience in a senior or lead engineer role in construction or contracting organizations is highly beneficial.
