At The Tax Company (TTC) , we're building India's next-generation AI-powered tax platform that simplifies taxation for individuals, professionals, and businesses.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Chartered Accountant who can lead our tax operations, manage a team of junior CAs, and help us build world-class tax processes.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Lead end-to-end Income Tax compliance for Individuals, Professionals, Firms and Companies.
- Review and file ITR-1, ITR-2, ITR-3, ITR-4, ITR-5, ITR-6 and ITR-7.
- Handle business taxation, tax planning and advisory.
- Review financial statements and tax computations before filing.
- Handle scrutiny notices, defective return responses and departmental communications.
- Guide clients on tax-saving opportunities while ensuring complete legal compliance.
- Review complex tax cases before submission.
- Supervise, mentor and train a team of 5+ Junior Chartered Accountants and Tax Associates.
- Establish internal SOPs, quality standards and review mechanisms.
- Work closely with our Product and Technology teams to improve TTC's AI-based tax filing platform.
- Validate AI-generated tax calculations and continuously improve accuracy.
- Assist in building tax knowledge bases, workflows and automation.
- Ensure timely delivery during peak filing seasons while maintaining exceptional quality.

What We're Looking For
- Chartered Accountant (CA)



with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Robust expertise in Indian Direct Tax Laws.
- Hands-on experience with Individual and Business Income Tax Returns.
- Experience in tax planning and advisory.
- Practical knowledge of Income Tax Portal, AIS, TIS, Form 26AS, TRACES and related compliance.
- Ability to manage and review a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
- Comfortable working with technology and AI-driven products.

Bonus If You Have
- Experience working in a tax consulting firm or Big 4.
- Experience handling high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), startups and SMEs.
- Exposure to automation, OCR-based document review or AI-assisted tax workflows.
- Interest in building products rather than only delivering services.
