Senior Design Engineer CAD

Job Responsibilities

1. Concept development, modelling, drafting and detailing of the automotive components in CATIA V5
2. Preparing the drawings according to the internal and external requirements
3. Create initial data base structure in Windchill / PLM for drawings, models and supporting documents (BOM)
4. Maintaining Engineering Change Records (ECR's), inclusive 3D & 2D record management
5. Supporting Interdisciplinary design work shops (Project Management, Quality, Cost estimation, Process Planning, Tool & Die press shop, CAE.) Required Skill Set a) Valuable understanding of design and engineering fundamentals, GD&T;

b) Very Good working knowledge of CATIA V5 and experience in sheet metal parts designing is a must. c) Able to provide Engineering design solutions for analysis targets by meeting the defined requirements d) Experience in Windchill/ PLM is required e) Good knowledge of 2D and 3D Modelling / Drafting f) Good communication, team player, result oriented and problem solving attitude

Required Qualification

1. Minimum qualification- Graduate with BE-Mechanical/ Automobile
2. Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in CAD with Catia V5 in automotive Industry.
