This role is for someone who doesn't just write code—but architects solutions, drives technical decisions, and delivers business value from concept to production. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys designing scalable systems, solving complex technical problems, and taking projects from concept to production. We're not looking for someone who simply completes assigned tasks.

Own the backend architecture, design, development, and delivery of assigned applications.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
Design, develop, and optimize relational databases.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into robust technical solutions.
Perform impact analysis before implementing changes and proactively identify potential risks.
Estimate development effort and participate in sprint planning.
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Users, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive them to closure.
Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Ensure code quality, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Own the complete backend lifecycle—from technical design and development to deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
Required Technical
Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
Strong experience with Express.js
Strong experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Good understanding of backend architecture and software design principles
Robust SQL and database optimization skills
Strong experience with Git-based version control (Bitbucket preferred)
Experience using Jira
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security
Experience debugging production issues and optimizing application performance Nice to Have
