Senior Architect –

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end architectural design process, including concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation for assigned projects.

- Prepare, review, and oversee architectural drawings, layouts, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials for client approvals.

- Ensure all designs comply with the National Building Code (NBC), local development control regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants to ensure seamless design integration and technical feasibility.

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve on-site design issues, and ensure quality standards and adherence to approved drawings.

- Prepare project specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation in coordination with the estimation and procurement teams.

- Liaise with municipal authorities and statutory bodies to obtain building plan approvals, permits, and necessary clearances.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding project requirements, presenting design concepts, and incorporating feedback effectively.

- Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to design intent.





- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining quality standards.

- Stay updated on emerging architectural trends, sustainable design practices, innovative materials, and modern construction technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch) from a recognized institution.

Certification

- Valid registration with the Council of Architecture (COA).

Experience

- 4–7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior or lead architectural design role.

Software Proficiency

- AutoCAD

- Revit

- SketchUp

- 3D visualization and rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, Twinmotion, or equivalent)

- MS Office Suite

- Project management and documentation tools

Technical Competencies

- Solid understanding of the National Building Code (NBC), local building regulations, and approval processes.

- Knowledge of construction methodologies, building materials, and structural coordination.

- Experience in preparing construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.

- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
