The Role

Analyst / Senior Analyst (0–4 years of client services experience)

Research Analysts are responsible for supporting the search strategy by producing industry and functional analysis reports and talent pool mappings for active search assignments, internal meetings, and new business initiatives including competitive information, sub-sector trends, target company list development and prospect identification.

In this role, you will:

- Break down new industries, market segments and competitive landscapes to understand client needs and shape research strategy translating qualitative insight into clear, decision-ready points of view.
- Provide directed support on assignments, from search strategy and target company list development to systematic identification of candidates and sources via internal databases (Quest), external databases and networks.
- Contribute to high-level name generation,



talent mapping and long-list creation, with informed commentary on potential candidates.
- Produce client-ready documentation like position specifications, progress reports, company mappings and qualifications packs for new business development.
- Track executive movements, industry trends and best-in-class leaders/future leaders, and keep the practice's knowledge base current.
- Partner with Consultants and Associates from kick-off through closure, and support special projects, candidate pool development and intellectual capital efforts.

Successful candidates will bring strong communication and assessment abilities, project management ability, results orientation, rigorous attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and will enjoy working internally with a variety of Consultants and externally with diverse, senior-level executives and board members.

They demonstrate a passion for working with people, communicating clearly and cogently, and driving change within a small team to lift business performance and are graceful under pressure, enjoy fast-paced environments and excel at multitasking.

Ideal experience & skills:

- Strong research skills – experience collecting and organizing information from databases and internet resources; comfort with business reference tools such as Capital IQ, LinkedIn, BoardEx, Naukri and AI tools.
- Computer literate – strong command of the Microsoft Office platform, with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Service industry expertise – experience in a consulting environment or a role involving significant client service and management of multiple projects to tight timelines, where competing demands are the norm.
- Education – Postgraduate candidates preferred; open to strong Bachelors (Engineering / Business Management) from a top-tier college.
