Job Summary For Senior Adversary Simulation Engineer (Remote, India)

- Senior-level role supporting global cybersecurity for Cigna/Evernorth via adversary simulation and purple team operations

- Lead and execute advanced adversary simulation and purple team engagements to validate detection and response capabilities

- Operate in complex, highly regulated enterprise environments handling sensitive data

- Collaborate closely with global security teams (threat intelligence, incident response, threat hunting, security engineering)

- Emulate real-world threat actors using MITRE ATT&CK; and custom models to conduct stealthy security operations

- Improve detection, telemetry, and response through targeted offensive assessments and translation of adversary behavior into actionable recommendations

- Mentor and support internal teams on adversary techniques, detection logic, and secure architecture best practices

- Contribute to the maturity and evolution of the adversary simulation program





- Utilize strong technical skills in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), detection logic (KQL, Sigma, SPL, YARA), and programming (C/C++/C#)

- Prepare comprehensive technical reports for diverse audiences

- Requires 12+ years’ experience in offensive security, red/purple/blue team, and deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture and attack vectors

- Preferred: experience in large, regulated enterprises, malware development concepts, offensive security research, and Agile environments

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Security (or equivalent experience) and relevant certifications (OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, GXPN, CRTO, etc.)

- Strong analytical, communication, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills with adaptability to evolving threats.
