The company renovates and flips distressed residential properties in San Diego, turning them into modern, high-quality homes. It also manages 16–17 short-term rental properties under platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Bonvoy Marriott, and Vrbo, overseeing full operations from guest experience to pricing.

An in-house legal team supports all property-related compliance, contracts, permits, and documentation. XLNC Exotic further operates XLNC Cars, a vehicle rental business in San Diego offering well-maintained cars for short- and long-term rentals.

Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalandhar, responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for the group’s real estate, hospitality, legal compliance, and mobility businesses. This role includes managing the general ledger, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring accurate recording of revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

The Senior

Accountant will handle budgeting and forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and variance analysis to support informed business decisions. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, tax calculations and filings, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.



The role also involves collaborating with operational teams, supporting internal and external audits, improving financial controls and processes, and providing management with financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.

Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support multi-business operations.

Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes, with the ability to prepare documentation and liaise with auditors and tax professionals.

Experience using accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and comfort working with financial data and reporting tools.

Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple entities and timelines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in real estate, hospitality, and mobility services.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.

Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to real estate, hospitality, or service-oriented businesses.

Demonstrated integrity, discretion with confidential information, and a proactive approach to improving processes and controls.
