Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, in office role based in Heṭauā. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable oversight, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant prepares financial statements and management reports, ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and supports audits by coordinating documentation and responding to queries. The role includes monitoring budgets, analyzing variances,



and providing data-driven insights to support leadership in financial decision-making.

Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, implement controls, and maintain accurate, timely financial records. Qualifications

Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.

Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit support activities.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to interpret financial data, generate reports, and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
