Role Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounts, financial reporting, statutory compliances and management reporting for our two tea estates in Assam (Borgaon Tea Estate) and Tripura (Harendranagar Tea Estate) and head office in Kolkata as well as our D2C brand “ORIGO TEA”:

Accounting

Head office accounting primarily including auction and private sales (e-invoicing and e-waybills), inventory reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, general expenses, branch accounting, fixed assets and depreciation.

Review and monitoring of accounting at both tea estates and coordinating with Accountants at the estates.

Accounting for the D2C brand which operates in a separate LLP, primarily managing purchases, blending, packeting and sales across channels (D2C, e-commerce, quick commerce, CSD) and reconciling inter-company transactions and ledgers between the Pvt. Ltd. and the LLP.

Financial & Management Reporting

Finalization of accounts and handling statutory audit.

Preparation and submission of financial reports required for renewal and sanction of borrowing limits and liaising with bankers.

Preparation of daily,



weekly and monthly MIS, cost sheets and stock statements.

Preparation of ad-hoc reports required by Management.

Statutory Compliances

Assisting statutory auditors in filing of PF, GST and TDS Returns.

Filing FSSAI and Tea Board Returns.

Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax and other corporate laws and statutory requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Graduate degree or equivalent in commerce from a recognized university.

0-3 years accounting experience in manufacturing sector.

Proficiency in Grill 4, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Books and Advanced Excel is a plus.

Self-motivated and dynamic individuals with an aptitude to learn and implement current skills and technologies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Good inter-personal and communication skills.

CTC

₹25,000 per month, plus an annual bonus equivalent to 1 month's salary.
