Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Finance Manager with 3-4 years of experience in the construction, architecture, and interior design industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the organization, leading the finance team, ensuring financial compliance, budgeting, cost control, project finance management, and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, financial planning expertise, and experience in handling project-based financial operations within the construction and design sector.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities 1.
Financial
Planning &
- Budget Management* Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and project cost plans. Monitor organizational financial performance and control project expenditures. Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions. Support management with strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Accounting &
- Financial Operations Oversee daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial transactions. Ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers, invoices, payments, and financial records. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage cash flow, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently. 3.
Project
Finance &
- Cost Control Monitor project-wise costing, profitability, and financial performance. Ensure proper tracking of construction and interior project expenses. Control operational costs and optimize financial resources. Coordinate with project teams regarding project budgets and financial approvals.
- Team Leadership &
- Management Lead, supervise, and manage the finance and accounts team effectively. Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of financial tasks. Provide guidance, performance monitoring, and team development support.
Ensure coordination between finance, procurement, HR, and project departments.
- Compliance &
- Audit Management Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements. Handle GST, TDS, payroll compliance, and other financial statutory processes. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely audit closure. Maintain proper financial documentation and compliance records.
- Reporting &
- Financial Analysis Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports. Present financial insights and profitability analysis to senior management. Monitor financial risks and recommend process improvements. Ensure accurate reporting of project revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Vendor &
- Payment Management Monitor vendor payments, subcontractor billing, and payment schedules. Verify payment approvals as per project and financial policies. Maintain healthy financial relationships with vendors and suppliers. Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
Required Skills &
Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management. Expertise in project finance, budgeting, and cost control. Knowledge of GST, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit procedures. Solid analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and team management abilities. Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Educational
Qualification CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in construction, architecture, interior design, or project-based industries. Ability to manage multiple projects and financial operations simultaneously. Strong leadership experience in handling finance and accounts teams. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
