About Asmi

At Asmi, we're building learning spaces where children and adolescents develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their connect with the world around them.

We believe children don't grow because of great activities. They grow because of meaningful conversations that are thoughtfully designed, developmentally appropriate, and led with empathy.

Our work goes beyond teaching isolated life skills. We design learning journeys that help children question, reflect, build self-awareness, navigate relationships, and make sense of life's complexities.

Every conversation designed is intended to become a small step in a child's long-term growth. About the Role

We're looking for someone who will help shape the quality of learning at Asmi.

This isn't an operations role. It isn't simply a curriculum-writing role either.

It's a role for someone who enjoys thinking deeply about children, learning and human development.

You'll work closely with facilitators, psychologists and the founding team to design meaningful learning journeys, mentor educators, refine our educational approach, and ensure every session contributes to a child's long-term development rather than becoming an isolated activity. If you're someone who constantly finds yourself asking,

What does this child truly need right now?

Why did this conversation work?

How could this experience become more meaningful?

...you'll probably enjoy this role. What You'll Be Building

Shape Long-Term Learning Journeys

Understand the developmental needs of different age groups.

Identify what learners need at different points in their journey.

Design learning pathways that extend across weeks and months, not isolated sessions.

Continuously refine those journeys based on observations and learner responses.

Create discussion-based and experiential learning experiences.

Translate complex psychological ideas into age-appropriate conversations.

Design experiences that encourage curiosity, reflection and genuine understanding rather than information transfer.

Continuously question whether every activity serves a meaningful developmental purpose.

Mentor Facilitators, observe live and recorded sessions, help facilitators think more deeply about their learners, and offer thoughtful feedback before and after sessions.

Build a facilitation culture rooted in curiosity, empathy and continuous learning.

Regularly facilitate student groups yourself to stay closely connected to classroom realities. You'll help us understand growth through observation, reflection and meaningful indicators that tell us whether our learning journeys are genuinely making a difference. This includes:

documenting learner observations,

identifying patterns across cohorts,

refining learning objectives,

and helping us better understand what meaningful Social-Emotional Learning actually looks like. One of the most exciting parts of this role is that you'll help shape the future of Asmi itself.

You'll read widely, question assumptions, integrate insights from psychology, education, philosophy and child development,

and help us build frameworks that influence future curriculums, facilitator training and program designs. You'll Probably Enjoy This Role If...

You think deeply about children, not just activities.

You enjoy designing conversations more than presentations.

You naturally notice group dynamics and underlying developmental needs.

You love mentoring educators and helping them grow.

You balance creativity with structure.

You're curious and brave to keep questioning your own ideas.

You're excited by the chance to build something from the ground up.

Experience That Would Help

Experience in one or more of these areas would be valuable:

Psychology

Education

Child Development

Social-Emotional Learning

Curriculum Design

Facilitator Training

Experiential Learning

Inquiry-based Learning

Reflective Pedagogies One Year Into This Role...

We hope you'll have helped us create something that lasts.

Learning journeys feel coherent across groups of kids and adolescents.

Facilitators feel more confident, reflective and intentional.

Children experience conversations they rarely get a safe space for elsewhere.

Change extends into spaces kids go to beyond the sessions.

Asmi understands children a little better than it did a year ago.

Why Join

Asmi?

We're trying to build something that aims to meaningfully impact childhoods and parenting.

If successful, this work could influence how emotional intelligence, relationships, self-awareness and life skills are understood, not as subjects to be taught, but as conversations that quietly become part of how children grow. If that excites you, we'd love to talk.
