Security Guard

Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to security incidents. The role requires vigilance, professionalism, and adherence to company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
- Control access to the premises by checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security breaches.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
- Report suspicious activities and security concerns to management.
- Prepare daily logs and incident reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities.
- Assist employees, visitors, and emergency responders when required.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid security guard license (if required by local regulations).




- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
