About the Role

As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enforcing robust security frameworks across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and software development lifecycles. You will ensure that security is embedded into every stage of the technology stack—from initial architecture and design to deployment and monitoring—by leveraging industry best practices in cloud security, DevSecOps, threat modeling, and secure system design.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive architecture and design reviews for recent and existing systems to identify and mitigate security risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Lead threat modeling exercises using methodologies such as STRIDE, DREAD, or attack trees to proactively identify vulnerabilities and guide secure design decisions.
- Architect and enforce cloud security strategies across multi-cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring compliance with frameworks like CIS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines, embedding automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) and policy enforcement to enable secure, rapid delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, product,



and operations teams to define secure-by-design principles and maintain a proactive security posture.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Perform and oversee penetration testing activities to validate the effectiveness of security controls and identify exploitable weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions to enable real-time threat detection, incident response, and compliance reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in security architecture, with deep expertise in cloud security and secure software development.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK;), compliance standards, and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Sentinel, Qualys, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
