Role Description This full-time, in office SBI Life Insurance Advisor role is based in Srinagar. The advisor will help individuals and families understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable SBI Life products across protection, savings, pension, and health solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective and existing customers, explaining policy features and benefits, preparing proposals, and assisting customers throughout the policy issuance and renewal process.





The role involves maintaining regular follow-ups, providing after-sales support, handling basic documentation, and coordinating with branch teams to ensure smooth service and claim-related assistance. Advisors are expected to build long-term customer relationships, meet business targets ethically, and represent SBI Life’s customer-first values in the local market.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Insurance knowledge, including understanding of life insurance products and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates should possess basic Finance skills, such as interpreting financial needs, premiums, and long-term savings or investment concepts.

Candidates should possess Consulting abilities to assess customer requirements and provide suitable policy recommendations.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure responsive support, clear guidance, and positive client experiences.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction in English and local languages.

Relevant academic background in commerce, finance, business, or related fields is beneficial; prior experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.

Strong ethical mindset, goal orientation, and ability to work independently as well as within branch teams are preferred.

Familiarity with basic computer applications and digital tools for customer onboarding and policy servicing is desirable.
