Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a SAP UI5 / FIORI Developer. The developer will design, build, and maintain SAP FIORI applications and SAP UI5 front-end components, ensuring user-friendly, performant, and secure solutions.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements, translating them into intuitive UI designs, and implementing custom FIORI apps and extensions. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, managing integration with SAP backend modules, and adhering to best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
The developer will participate in testing, documentation, and deployment activities, and support ongoing enhancements in line with Ekloud’s cloud-first and AI-driven technology ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with the ability to translate functional requirements into effective SAP UI5 / FIORI solutions.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to analyze user needs, system behavior, and performance issues, and propose data-driven improvements.
- Consulting capabilities to work with stakeholders, gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Experience with SAP FICO and related Master Data concepts, enabling effective integration of FIORI apps with SAP backend modules.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP UI5, SAP FIORI, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and contemporary frontend development practices and tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in consulting or working with enterprise clients in industries such as IT, finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing is beneficial.
