As an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central & Time Management Lead, a typical day involves leading end-to-end implementations and Application Management Services (AMS) support for Employee Central (EC), Time Management, and Time Tracking solutions. The role requires configuring core SuccessFactors modules, designing secure and scalable HR solutions, managing integrations, and ensuring compliance with global HR policies and local statutory requirements. The position also involves collaborating with business stakeholders, driving solution design workshops, supporting testing and go-live activities, and delivering high-quality HR solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end implementations and AMS support for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Time Management modules.

Configure Foundation MDF Objects and Employee Central data structures, including Job Information, Organizational Data, and related master data.

Configure and maintain Time Management components, including Work Schedules, Time Types, Time Accounts, Time Off, Holiday Calendars, and Time Valuation.

Implement Employee Time Sheet (ETS) and Time Tracking solutions based on business requirements.

Design, configure, and manage Role-Based Permissions (RBP), including permission roles, permission groups, and data access controls.

Support authentication and security configurations,



including Single Sign-On (SSO), SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), and user provisioning.

Conduct requirement gathering workshops, analyse business requirements, and design scalable SAP SuccessFactors solutions aligned with best practices.

Drive SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and go-live activities while ensuring successful project delivery.

Ensure compliance with global HR policies, governance standards, and country-specific statutory requirements.

Design and support integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party applications using SAP CPI, Integration Center, OData APIs, and standard integration frameworks.

Maintain functional and technical documentation and support quarterly SAP SuccessFactors releases, enhancements, and regression testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and offshore/onshore teams to deliver high-quality HR solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).

Strong experience in SuccessFactors Time Management, including Time Off, Time Tracking, Employee Time Sheet (ETS), Time Accounts, and Time Valuation.





Proven experience in configuring and governing Role-Based Permissions (RBP).

Strong knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms, including SSO, IAS, IPS, and user provisioning.

Good understanding of Workforce Structures, Absence Management, Holiday Calendars, Work Schedules, and Time Valuation.

Experience in designing and supporting integrations using SAP CPI, OData APIs, Integration Center, and standard SuccessFactors integration technologies.

Exposure to SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or third-party payroll integrations is preferred.

Solid understanding of SAP SuccessFactors data model, configuration framework, and global HR processes.

Experience in troubleshooting production issues and supporting AMS engagements.

Experience

8–10 years of overall SAP experience.

Minimum of 2–3 end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations with strong experience in Time Management and Time Tracking.

Experience in global implementation, rollout, and AMS support projects.

Experience working in client-facing, global delivery environments.

Preferred Certifications

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Management or Time Tracking Certification (preferred).

Mandatory Skills

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (Core).
