Role Description The SAP Specialist will work in a contract, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and optimizing business processes, configuring and supporting SAP FICO modules, and managing master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand requirements, propose SAP-based solutions, and support implementation and testing activities.

The SAP Specialist will also prepare documentation, provide user training,



and assist with issue resolution and continuous system improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and support SAP IS-Retail solutions.
- Analyze business processes and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Support end-to-end SAP Master Data implementation projects.
- Configure and customize SAP IS-Retail modules.
- Prepare functional specifications and detailed solution blueprints
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Identify process gaps and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide client support.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Required Skills

6–12 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience

Minimum 5 full-cycle SAP implementation projects

Solid experience in SAP Retail Master Data, including:

- Article Master
- Site Master
- Vendor Master
- Assortment
- Listing
- Conversion Tools & Practices

Strong understanding of

SAP Retail Merchandising Processes

Master Data Creation & Maintenance

Retail Business Processes

SAP Project Lifecycle

Functional Design & Configuration

Preferred Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
