The Role

Turium AI is seeking a senior, hands-on SAP S/4HANA Implementation Lead with extensive implementation and functional delivery experience.

This is not a purely advisory or architecture position. You will lead client workshops, provide functional leadership, configure SAP S/4HANA and work directly with delivery teams throughout the full implementation lifecycle—from design and configuration through testing, go-live and hypercare.

As a senior functional representative of Turium AI, you will build client confidence in our SAP capability, solution design and delivery approach. You must be comfortable engaging with executives and senior stakeholders while remaining actively involved in configuration, documentation, testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

You will work closely with consultants and delivery teams across Australia and India, providing implementation leadership, mentoring team members and maintaining consistent delivery standards across SAP programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP S/4HANA functional design and implementation activities.
- Lead functional workstreams from discovery and design through configuration, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into practical SAP process designs, configuration and solution recommendations.
- Perform hands-on SAP S/4HANA configuration within the relevant functional specialisation.
- Configure and support end-to-end SAP business processes.
- Promote SAP standard functionality and a clean-core, standard-first implementation approach.
- Review proposed enhancements and customisations for business value, maintainability and alignment with SAP best practices.
- Provide functional leadership to SAP consultants, developers, integration specialists, data teams and testers.




- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process designs, test scenarios and supporting implementation documentation.
- Support integration design between SAP S/4HANA and external enterprise systems.
- Work closely with data migration, security, reporting, workflow and technical teams.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning and production deployment.
- Investigate and resolve functional defects, configuration issues and process gaps.
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, risk management and delivery governance.
- Present solution recommendations, design decisions, risks and implementation options to client stakeholders.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants and contribute to the continued development of Turium AI’s SAP implementation capability.
- Coordinate distributed delivery teams across Australia and India to maintain implementation quality, accountability and successful project outcomes.
- Represent Turium AI professionally and strengthen client confidence in our SAP delivery capability.

Required Experience
- At least 5–10 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA.
- Current SAP S/4HANA certification relevant to the candidate’s functional specialisation at Associate or Skilled level.
- Strong expertise in one or more SAP S/4HANA functional areas, including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM,



PM, QM or another relevant module.
- Experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP or SAP S/4HANA implementation programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading functional workstreams, fit-to-standard workshops and solution design sessions.
- Strong understanding of the SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documentation, process designs and test scenarios.
- Experience supporting data migration, integrations, security, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
- Working knowledge of SAP Fiori applications, workflows, business roles and authorisations.
- Ability to understand APIs, interfaces and technical integration concepts while operating as a functional delivery leader.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and remain accountable for functional outcomes.
- Experience leading SAP teams across multiple locations or offshore delivery models.
- Willingness to remain hands-on throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who combines senior-level credibility with a practical, delivery-focused mindset.

You should be equally comfortable presenting to executives, facilitating business workshops, configuring SAP, reviewing functional designs, troubleshooting defects and supporting the delivery team through testing and go-live.

You will be expected to take ownership, make informed recommendations and lead successful SAP S/4HANA implementation workstreams while helping establish Turium AI as a highly capable SAP implementation partner across Australia and India.
