Role Description

SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant will be responsible for designing , implementing, and optimizing a dvanced production-planning processes in SAP S/4HANA and SAP APO environments.

Key Responsibilities

- A senior SAP PP/DS consultant is expected not only to configure the system, but also to optimize the customer's end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to enable efficient, optimized, and scalable planning processes
- Knowledge of working with Process orders/Planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Version
- Specifically, MRP, Configurations like Planning board, DS board, Different profiles, PPDS Subcontracting process,



Alerts configuration monitoring
- Analyze and optimize planning processes (MTS, MTO), production planning strategies, and scheduling parameters

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PPDS configuration with business requirements
- Assist with or support activities related to SAP Demand Planning (DP) as needed
- Integration of S/4 Hana PPDS with Kinaxis Planning

- Conduct workshops, system testing, user training, and provide post-implementation support during Hypercare
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements

Education and Skill-set Required

- 6–8 years of SAP production-planning experience
- At least 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- SAP certification (preferred)
- Robust analytical and communication skills
- Experience leading workshops and customer presentations
