Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence) Consultant to design, implement, and support manufacturing execution solutions for global manufacturing clients.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, production teams, and technical teams to optimize shop floor operations, integrate manufacturing systems with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, and improve manufacturing visibility through real-time data collection and analytics. SAP ME enables manufacturing execution and traceability, while SAP MII provides integration, visualization, and manufacturing intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements for manufacturing execution and shop floor processes.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP ME and SAP MII solutions.
- Configure production execution, work instructions, data collection, genealogy, WIP tracking, labor tracking,



and quality management.
- Develop SAP MII dashboards, KPIs, reports, and manufacturing analytics.
- Integrate SAP ME/MII with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA using standard interfaces.
- Configure and support integration with SAP PP, QM, EWM, Plant Connectivity (PCo), and third-party shop floor systems (PLCs, SCADA, MES devices).
- Develop and customize MII transactions, queries, displays, and workflows.
- Support production order execution, material consumption, serialization, and traceability.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-go-live support.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Prepare functional and technical documentation.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout implementation and support projects.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution).
- Strong experience in SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence).
- Experience integrating SAP ME/MII with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP PP, QM, EWM, PM, and MM integration.
- Experience with MEINT, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo).




- Knowledge of manufacturing execution, shop floor control, WIP management, genealogy, and traceability.
- Experience in SAP MII Workbench, dashboards, transactions, and KPI development.
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, HTML5, and SAPUI5.
- Understanding of ISA-95 manufacturing standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP ME and/or SAP MII certification is preferred.
- Experience in discrete or process manufacturing industries such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience
- 5–8 years: SAP ME/MII Consultant
- 8–12+ years: Senior SAP ME/MII Consultant with end-to-end implementation and solution design experience.
