Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Hybris Spartacus Technical Lead with 10+ years of software development experience, including extensive expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud Hybris and the Spartacus storefront framework. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled front-end engineer responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade composable commerce storefronts while leading a small front-end development team. The candidate should have hands-on experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP Commerce composable storefront implementations, possess deep Angular expertise, and work closely with backend teams to build high-performance, scalable, and responsive digital commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities Lead the front-end development of SAP Commerce Cloud Hybris storefronts using the Spartacus framework. Design and develop reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components following modern front-end engineering practices. Implement enterprise-grade composable commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud and Spartacus.

Lead and mentor a team of 2 front-end developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines. Collaborate closely with SAP Commerce backend developers to integrate OCC APIs and other backend services. Translate UXUI designs into responsive and accessible web applications.

Optimize storefront performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and overall user experience. Participate in technical design discussions, sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews. Troubleshoot complex front-end integration and production issues.

Ensure high-quality deliverables through unit testing, integration testing, and peer reviews. Support CICD pipelines and deployment activities.





Required Technical

Skills SAP Commerce Cloud Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud Hybris architecture.

Experience implementing at least two end-to-end composable commerce projects using Spartacus.

Hands-on experience integrating with: OCC REST APIs Product Catalog Search Checkout Cart Promotions CMS Components Customer Accounts Orders B2BB2C Commerce Spartacus

Front-End Development Expert-level knowledge of: Spartacus Storefront Framework Angular latest versions TypeScript JavaScript ES6+ RxJS NgRx HTML5 CSS3 SCSSSASS Responsive Web Design Progressive Web Applications PWA Accessibility WCAG Cross-browser compatibility API Integration Solid understanding of: REST APIs OCC APIs JSON OAuth 2.0 JWT Authentication API integration patterns Error handling API performance optimization Backend service orchestration Must be comfortable working with backend developers to consume and troubleshoot SAP Commerce APIs.

Development Tools Experience with: Git Azure DevOps or Jira Jenkins CICD pipelines SonarQube npm Node.js Webpack Chrome DevTools Postman Leadership Experience leading a 2-member front-end development team. Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. Strong collaboration skills with backend, QA, DevOps, UX, and Solution Architecture teams. Ability to estimate tasks, manage technical risks,



and ensure timely delivery.

Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering B.E.B.Tech. or Master's degree M.Tech.

MCAMS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of software development experience. Minimum 5+ years of SAP Commerce Cloud Hybris development experience. Proven experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP Commerce composable storefront implementations using Spartacus.

Expert-level proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and modern front-end development. Strong understanding of SAP Commerce OCC APIs and backend integration. Willingness to work in the Australian time zone from India.

Preferred Qualifications SAP Commerce Cloud development or Spartacus-related certifications.

Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2. Knowledge of Micro Frontends MFE architecture.

Experience with Headless Commerce and MACH architecture. Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

Experience with GraphQL is an advantage. Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.

Experience working in AgileScrum environments.
