Role Purpose:

- As the Functional Consultant for Finance, you will be part of a high-performance team chartered to deliver full lifecycle enterprise SAP solutions within a global SAP project delivery team.

- Your role will be to identify, design, build, test, and deploy high-quality SAP solutions for STL Digital's customers' complex business needs in Finance and Controlling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the business requirements of the organization and prepare the blueprint for project implementation.

- Implement the project; validate reporting requirements and any changes in customization.

- Provide training and day-to-day query resolution to end users; enhance SAP based on requirements.

- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FICO, including workshops to collect business requirements.

- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.

- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; design, customize, configure, and test FICO.

- Identify gaps and issues and work around solutions; act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting.

- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues.

- Document functional designs, test cases, and results; proactively propose business process/system enhancements.

- Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects.

- Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team; provide ad-hoc training and user support.

- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to junior members.

- Have implemented Finance Transformation projects,



working on at least 2 of: Parallel Currencies/Ledgers, Advanced ICMR, Funds Management for Budgetary Control, Automatic Payment Program (APP), Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC),

- Product Costing set-up, Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost allocation cycles (Assessment & Distribution), Account-based Marginal Analysis, Material Ledger activation.

Skills / Knowledge / Attributes:

- SAP experience supporting General Ledger plus at least 3 of: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Financial Closing, Inter-company Accounting, Project System, Management & Cost Centre/Element Accounting, Product Costing, COPA.

- Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset; solid understanding of accounting business processes.

- Minimum of 6 years designing and configuring FICO modules.

- Domain expertise across multiple FICO modules Multi-ledger GL/AR/AP/Fixed Assets/Product Costing/Integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Supported multi-country operations (e.g. India, US, EU) with different local currencies/fiscal years.

- SAP certification in FI or CO.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables/projects simultaneously; understand business processes from a customer perspective; work effectively in a team environment.

Experience & Education:

- Minimum 8 years of experience, working as an individual contributor.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; quick, self-driven learner.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate across geographically diverse teams.

- Certified Accountant (CA/ICWA/CPA/CFA or equivalent) / MBA (Finance).
