SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant with 7-12 years of experience in SAP implementation, support, rollout, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in SAP FI processes and be capable of delivering end-to-end financial solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Financial Accounting processes.

Configure and support SAP FI solutions based on business needs.

Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions.

Participate in implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.

Support SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-production activities.

Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within agreed timelines.





Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Drive continuous process improvements and system optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

7-12 years of experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI).

Strong expertise in

General Ledger Accounting (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Asset Accounting (AA)

Bank Accounting

Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)

Tax Configuration

Financial Closing and Reporting

Intercompany Accounting

Experience in New GL and Financial Reporting processes.

Strong knowledge of integration with CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.

Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.

Hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation and support projects.

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
