Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with BRF+ and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) expertise to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications on SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in contemporary ABAP development, BRF+ rule framework, CDS Views, RAP, OData services, and SAP Fiori integration. This role involves developing scalable, cloud-ready applications, optimizing business processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications using modern ABAP programming techniques.

Develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

Create and enhance CDS Views, Behavior Definitions, Behavior Implementations, Service Definitions, and Service Bindings.

Design and implement business rules using BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus).

Develop and expose OData V2/V4 services for SAP Fiori applications.

Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP services.

Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and custom objects.

Work with ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and ALE/IDocs.

Integrate SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP applications using APIs and web services.

Perform code optimization, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.

Prepare technical specifications and collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Support end-to-end implementation, upgrade, migration, rollout, and production support activities.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.





Strong hands-on experience with:

ABAP Objects (OO ABAP)

SAP Gateway

Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA development.

Experience developing Fiori-enabled applications.

Expertise in enhancements including BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.

Experience with Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAP Scripts.

Experience with IDocs, RFCs, Proxy Services, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Embedded Steampunk (ABAP Cloud).

Knowledge of SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.

Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Apps.

Exposure to Git-enabled CTS (gCTS) and CI/CD pipelines.

SAP ABAP or SAP S/4HANA Development certification.
