Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for a SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Consultant. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and enhancements to support business processes and system integrations. Daily tasks include creating and optimizing reports, implementing user exits and enhancements, developing and consuming BAPIs, and working with IDocs for data exchange.

The role involves collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions,



conducting unit and integration testing, and providing support for production issues. The consultant will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of SAP development standards and performance.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong experience in ABAP development, including ALV Reports and related reporting techniques.

Candidates should possess skills in SAP enhancement frameworks such as User Exits and related customization methods.

Candidates should possess expertise in SAP integration technologies, including BAPI and IDoc for data interfaces and system connectivity.

Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) within ABAP and modern SAP development practices.

Strong understanding of SAP modules (such as FI, SD, MM, or HCM) and how technical solutions support business processes.

Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
