Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Technical Consultant. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP solutions, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, to support business processes.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications, developing and testing ABAP code, and troubleshooting issues in existing customizations.



The role involves close collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with project timelines. The consultant will also participate in code reviews, performance optimization, technical documentation, and support activities across SAP modules as required.

Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in SAP ABAP, including ability to design, develop, and debug complex custom solutions.
- Experience with ALV Reports and Data Dictionary for creating structured reports and managing SAP data definitions.
- Hands-on expertise with IDoc and User Exits for interface development, integration, and system enhancements.
- Positive understanding of SAP architecture, standard modules, and development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications.
- Experience with performance tuning, code optimization, and standard SAP development tools (SE80, SE11, SE38, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in on-site, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and willingness to learn new SAP technologies and frameworks.
