Role & Responsibilities

We are hiring a Retail Sales Executive for Sree Durga Jewellery & Son. The candidate will be responsible for:

- Welcoming customers and understanding their jewellery requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Presenting jewellery confidently and explaining product designs, purity, weight, making charges, offers, and pricing.
- Building customer trust through polite conversation, attentive listening, and professional behaviour.
- Handling sales calculations accurately, including gold rate, weight, making charges, discounts, exchange value, GST, and final billing.
- Converting customer enquiries into successful sales while maintaining long-term relationships.
- Following up with potential and existing customers regarding orders, new collections, and offers.
- Keeping jewellery counters, displays, and product information properly organised.
- Assisting with stock checking, tagging, order coordination, and other showroom activities.
- Taking initiative and actively identifying additional work instead of waiting for instructions.
- Working sincerely with the team to achieve individual and showroom sales targets.
- Maintaining honesty, discipline, punctuality, confidentiality,



and responsibility while handling valuable products.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Robust sales ability with a confident, friendly, and convincing personality.
- Good communication skills, vocabulary, and the ability to speak politely with different types of customers.
- Excellent listening skills and patience to understand customer needs and different situations.
- Good numerical ability and accuracy in calculations.
- Hardworking, responsible, sincere, and willing to learn.
- Proactive nature with the habit of taking initiative and completing additional responsibilities.
- Ability to handle customer objections, complaints, and negotiations calmly.
- Well-groomed, disciplined, punctual, and comfortable working in a premium jewellery showroom.
- Knowledge of Hindi is required; Bengali and English communication skills will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in jewellery, retail, luxury products, fashion, banking, or customer-facing sales will be preferred. Freshers with strong communication and calculation skills may also apply.
