Role Description The Sales Associate is a full-time, in office role based in Jamshedpur, responsible for driving customer acquisition and promoting Airtel Payments Bank products and services. Day-to-day activities include engaging with customers at banking points, explaining digital banking offerings, assisting with account opening and onboarding, and supporting users in using key products such as the Safe Second Account, RuPay cards, and FASTag. The role involves meeting sales and activation targets, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions,



and providing feedback from the field to improve products and processes.

The Sales

Associate will collaborate closely with local partners and internal teams to ensure consistent service quality, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications Customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain digital banking products clearly and confidently.

Sales and negotiation skills, including experience meeting targets and converting customer interest into successful activations.

Basic digital literacy and comfort working with mobile apps, payment platforms, and banking technologies.

Strong communication skills in relevant local languages and English, with a professional and inclusive approach to diverse customers.

Attention to detail and reliability in handling customer data, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Ability to work on-site in Jamshedpur, travel locally as needed, and collaborate effectively with team members and partners.

Prior experience in banking, financial services, or retail sales is an advantage but not mandatory.

Minimum educational qualification typically at the higher secondary or graduate level; formal sales or banking certifications are a plus.
