Overview: 7-Eleven Information Security is looking for an IAM Software Engineer with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) experience to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions. The ideal candidate will help implement access governance, identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and access controls while working closely with business, security, and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate is an integrator of people, processes, and technology, a thought leader, a problem solver, and has a solid knowledge of security best practices and security technologies.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated aptitude in information security and specifically within Identity and Access Management; with a broad breadth of experience in the consumer or retail domain. We are looking for someone who can act like an entrepreneur to engage at the pace of innovation and be courageous with their point of view to ensure appropriate risk mitigation. Responsibilities
Develop, configure, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows, forms, rules, and policies
Develop, configure, and maintain IIQ workflows, forms, rules, and policies
Support identity lifecycle processes: Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML)
Configure and maintain application connectors and account provisioning/deprovisioning
Build and enhance approval workflows, access request forms, and certification campaigns
Troubleshoot IIQ issues, debug workflows, and resolve production incidents
Write BeanShell/Java custom rules and scripts
Support role management, birthright access, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls
Implement Least Privilege Access Management solutions
Participate in upgrades, patches, deployments, and regression testing
Onboard new applications into IIQ
Configure Web Services Connectors for provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management
Develop and troubleshoot REST/SOAP API integrations (authentication,
request/response mapping, connector rules); validate with Postman
Integrate identities across Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, databases, and enterprise applications
Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and runbooks
Collaborate with IAM architects, security teams, and application owners Required Skills:
1–3 years of development experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ in Identity & Access Management environment
Knowledge of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts.

Understanding of RBAC and Least Privilege principles.
Good knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, REST APIs, and LDAP.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred
Skills
SailPoint IdentityIQ certification (preferred).
Experience integrating enterprise applications.
Knowledge of SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and REST APIs.
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in IAM or application development. Nice to Have
Experience with Java 17 and Apache Tomcat.
Knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle databases.
Exposure to cloud IAM technologies (Azure AD/Entra ID, CyberArk, etc.).
Hands-on experience in developing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ plugins, including custom UI pages, REST APIs, backend services, and plugin deployment.
Understanding of security standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Key Competencies
