Job Title: Safety Engineer [Entry Level]

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and vigilant Safety Officer to join our site team in Gurugram. This is an entry-level position suited to candidates who understand how an active construction site runs and want to build a career in EHS. The Safety Officer will drive day-to-day safety compliance, keep workers protected, and support safe execution across our residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibility:

- Site Safety Compliance: Conduct daily safety walks and inspections across all active work fronts. Enforce PPE usage, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices in line with company and client EHS requirements.
- Toolbox Talks & Inductions: Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions for new workers and subcontractors. Ensure every worker on site understands the hazards of the day's activities.
- Hazard Identification & Reporting: Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, raise them with site engineers and contractors, and follow through until they are closed. Maintain near-miss and incident registers.
- Permits & High-Risk Work :



Support permit-to-work compliance for high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, and lifting operations. Verify scaffolding, edge protection, and electrical safety before work proceeds.
- Client Compliance & NC Closure: Work to the client's EHS requirements and formats. Address safety observations and non-conformances (NCs) raised in client and internal audits, implement corrective actions, and follow them through to closure.
- Safety Documentation : Maintain daily safety reports, inspection checklists, and incident records. Assist in incident investigations and in preparing monthly safety statistics for management and clients.

Requirements:

- Diploma/ graduate degree; a Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience on construction sites. Familiarity with live site operations mandatory.
- Working knowledge of PPE norms, work-at-height precautions, and general construction safety practices.
- Willingness to be full-time on an active construction site.

Skills:

- Observant and assertive — able to spot unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work politely but firmly.
- Clear communication in Hindi and basic English; comfortable addressing workers and contractors.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office for reports and registers.
- Physically active and comfortable moving across a large site, including at height.
- Team player who works closely with site engineers and contractor supervisors.
