Rolling Mill Technician Angola (Metal Manufacturing)

Role & Responsibilities

- Learn and operate newly installed rolling mill machinery.
- Monitor machine performance during production.
- Inspect rollers, bearings, gearboxes, shafts and couplings.
- Check lubrication, vibration, temperature and machine condition.
- Identify mechanical issues and report abnormalities immediately.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Support machine setup, adjustment and production changeovers.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain daily machine operation and inspection records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- ITI (Fitter/Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in Rolling Mill, Steel Plant, Wire Rod Mill, Copper Plant, Metal Industry or Heavy Manufacturing.




- Experience in operating or maintaining rolling mill and production machinery.
- Good knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, rollers, couplings, lubrication and hydraulic systems.
- Young, energetic and willing to learn newly installed rolling mill machines.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor.
- Willing to relocate to Luanda, Angola.
