Role Description The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards. This full-time, on-site role is based at Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa Bangalore in Bengaluru and involves daily tasks such as cleaning and preparing rooms, replenishing amenities, making beds, and handling laundry items. The role includes reporting maintenance issues, following housekeeping checklists, and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

Room Attendants interact with guests courteously, respond to service requests,



and coordinate with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. The position requires consistent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess housekeeping skills, including clean rooms practices and adherence to hotel cleanliness standards.

Candidates should possess laundry skills, including handling linens, towels, and guest laundry in line with hygiene and quality requirements.

Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.

Candidates should possess basic organizational and time management skills to complete room assignments efficiently and accurately.

Prior experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are also encouraged to apply.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads throughout the shift, and to follow safety and hygiene procedures consistently.

High school diploma or equivalent is an advantage; training will be provided in hotel standards and procedures.
