Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Robot Framework) Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week from office)

Experience: 5+ Years

CTC Budget: Up to ₹ 1 LPM is ₹70,000 per month . per month (depending on experience and fit)

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Robot Framework and troubleshooting . The ideal candidate should have hands-on automation experience, strong debugging skills, and the ability to independently own testing activities for assigned modules. Candidates from the BFSI/Financial Services domain will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Robot Framework.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and automation testing.
- Independently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Analyze production issues and collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis.
- Validate application functionality using SQL queries and Unix/Linux commands.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Own QA activities for assigned modules/features and ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior QA engineers whenever required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required SkillsPrimary Skills (Priority Order)

- Troubleshooting (Highest Priority – ~40%)
- Strong hands-on debugging and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently identify, investigate, and resolve application issues.
- Experience handling production incidents and root cause analysis.
- Robot Framework Automation (Must Have – ~20%)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and executing automation test scripts.
- Valuable understanding of automation frameworks and best practices.
- Unix/Linux
- Basic hands-on experience with Linux/Unix.
- Comfortable using shell commands, log analysis, and file navigation.
- SQL
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Ability to write queries, joins,



and perform data validation.
- Python (Good to Have)
- Basic understanding of Python.
- Ability to read or make minor updates to automation scripts is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain.
- Experience owning end-to-end QA activities for a module or feature.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
