As we continue expanding our retail footprint across India, we are looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to drive operational excellence, standardize store processes, and ensure consistent business performance across multiple locations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Andheri East, Mumbai, with frequent travel across India.

The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end retail operations across multiple store locations, ensuring operational efficiency, sales growth, inventory accuracy, and consistent implementation of company SOPs. The role involves overseeing store performance, leading store teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, conducting operational audits, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining high compliance and operational standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG retail operations, multi-store management, inventory control, team leadership, and business performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day retail operations across multiple store locations.

Drive store sales, revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Ensure uniform implementation of SOPs, operational policies, and company standards across all stores.

Manage inventory, stock replenishment, shrinkage control, and FIFO compliance.

Supervise merchandising, product placement, visual standards,



and store presentation.

Lead, train, mentor, and motivate store teams to achieve operational and sales targets.

Monitor billing operations, cash handling, and daily reconciliations.

Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, HR, Finance, and other internal departments for seamless operations.

Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities.

Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management.

Travel across India for new store launches, operational support, audits, and training programs.

Qualifications

Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field.

4–8 years of experience in FMCG retail operations or store management.

Experience managing multiple stores or regional retail operations is preferred.

Experience in supermarkets, grocery chains, or modern trade formats will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in POS systems and MS Excel.
