Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Retail Interior Designer based in New Delhi.

The Retail Interior

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design solutions for retail spaces, including store layouts, visual merchandising concepts, and customer flow planning. Daily tasks include preparing mood boards, 2D/3D drawings, and detailed design presentations, as well as selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture that align with brand guidelines and budget constraints. The role involves close collaboration with clients, project managers,



and contractors to refine design briefs, coordinate technical details, and ensure that design intent is maintained through execution.

The Retail Interior

Designer will also participate in site visits, review drawings and samples, support project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in retail interior design, space planning, and visual merchandising for customer-centric environments.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 2D/3D software.
- Ability to develop detailed drawings, material specifications, and design documentation for execution.
- Experience collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors, with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of construction processes, fit-out workflows, and basic building codes relevant to interior projects.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, brand alignment, and user experience within retail environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in retail or commercial interior projects in an on-site setting is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving client requirements.
