The Residential Interior Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of residential interior design and fit-out projects from inception to completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor residential interior projects through all project phases
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams (Spatially Supervisors)
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Oversee site activities to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews
- Manage procurement, material approvals, and vendor performance
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions as required
- Ensure timely handover and close-out documentation
- Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing residential interior or fit-out projects
- Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction practices
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects (5-10) and deadlines effectively
