Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Research Volunteer.

The Research

Volunteer will support studies on rural markets, technology adoption, and e-commerce usage patterns, gathering data through online research, surveys, and interviews where applicable. Day-to-day tasks include compiling and organizing information, analyzing trends, preparing concise reports or summaries, and contributing insights for current initiatives aimed at rural communities. The role may also involve assisting with documentation, creating basic presentations,



and collaborating with team members to refine research questions and methodologies.

Qualifications Ability to conduct structured online research, gather data from multiple sources, and synthesize findings clearly.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a concise, organized manner.

Basic understanding of e-commerce, digital platforms, or technology-enabled services (interest in rural development is a plus).

Comfort working independently in a remote setting, managing time effectively, and meeting agreed deadlines.

Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and basic data organization.

Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field such as social sciences, business, economics, development studies, or similar is preferred.

Openness to learning, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.
