Role Description This remote internship role as a Research and Teaching Assistant supports instructional activities and educational projects at Alpha Knight Academy. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated first-year M.Tech student who wants to build a career in computational biotechnology, AI-driven biological research, and scientific leadership. This is not a conventional internship.

It is a 2-year Research & Teaching Assistantship designed to develop future researchers capable of leading scientific projects, mentoring students, and managing research initiatives. You will work closely on computational biology and biotechnology projects while also contributing to teaching, curriculum development, and research management. Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy all of the following:

First-year M.Tech student currently enrolled in an IIT, NIT, or IISc

Qualified through GATE

Strong interest in core Computational Biotechnology

Willing to pursue research beyond coursework

Interested in project management and leadership responsibilities

Comfortable learning new computational tools independently Applicants should have:

Strong understanding of biotechnology fundamentals

Basic understanding of computational biology or bioinformatics





Some prior research experience (academic project, thesis, internship, publication, or equivalent)

Good scientific writing and communication skills

Curiosity, consistency, and willingness to learn Responsibilities:

Assist in computational biotechnology research projects

Contribute to literature reviews and scientific analysis

Help develop educational content and teaching material

Mentor students during workshops and training sessions

Coordinate research activities and project timelines

Participate in research planning and documentation
