About Strake Aero Strake Aero is a privately owned aviation advisory firm with presence in USA and India. We connect the cockpit, the boardroom, and the hangar.
Strake
Aero supports operators, lessors, and investors across the globe through independent Aircraft Sales & Leasing advisory, on-demand private air charter (Fly TOGA), comprehensive aircraft customization advisory and AOG parts support.
About The Role Strake Aero is expanding its commercial mandate across three of the world's most dynamic business aviation corridors: Africa, the Middle East, and India. We are seeking a high-impact Regional Director to command this expansion. In this role, you will act as the point of contact for Strake Aero—originating and executing complex fixed-wing and rotary-wing transactions, structuring high-value asset solutions, and driving the incubation of our new AOG Material Solutions enterprise.
This is a strategic growth leadership role requiring high commercial acumen, deep technical credibility, and an established cross-regional network. Core Responsibilities 1.
Market
Development & Commercial Execution ● Formulate and execute comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for new and pre-owned fixed-wing and rotary-wing asset transactions across the EMEA region. ● Originate, negotiate, and close complex commercial opportunities with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, corporate flight departments, charter operators, and government entities. ● Leverage proprietary industry networks to identify off-market aircraft, securing high-value transactions prior to public market exposure. ● Maintain rigorous pipeline governance with transparent stage-gate milestone tracking from initial mandate through technical acceptance and closing. 2.
Strategic
Alliances & Network Expansion ● Establish and institutionalize long-term relationships with international lessors, financial institutions, MRO providers,
and aircraft brokers to drive continuous deal flow. ● Represent Strake Aero at premier global aviation forums, airshows, and board-level client engagements to advance the firm's market positioning. ● Structure co-brokerage, strategic partnership, and referral frameworks that scale global reach while optimizing operating efficiency. 3.
Material
Solutions (AOG Parts) ● Architect the strategic framework, operating model, and go-to-market positioning for Strake Aero's current AOG Parts & Material Solutions line of business. ● Develop strategic supply agreements with primary OEMs, tier-1 distributors, and global MRO networks to guarantee high-integrity sourcing. ● Hold full P&L; accountability for this business line during its build-out phase, reporting operational metrics directly to the Founders.
- Techno-Commercial Advisory & Deal Structuring ● Conduct advanced mission-profiling and aircraft performance calculations to evaluate payload, range, and operational constraints for client fleet optimization. ● Perform comprehensive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lifecycle cost analysis, comparing factory-new and pre-owned acquisition models. ● Structure bespoke financing mechanisms—including operating leases, debt financing, and hybrid capital structures—in alignment with client capital allocation strategies. ● Interrogate aircraft technical records, airworthiness status, and maintenance histories to quantify transaction risk and safeguard client interests.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Track Record ● Industry Experience: 7–10+ years of demonstrated success in OEM commercial sales, aircraft brokerage, or structured aviation asset financing. ● Technical Credentials: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license strongly preferred. ● Education: Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or Finance. Advanced degrees (MBA) are advantageous.
How to Apply Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume accompanied by a brief work sample or Strategic Portfolio (e.g., an anonymized transaction case study, a TCO/financial model, or a 90-day regional market entry memo) to: [Confidential Information].
