Job Summary

We are looking for an R&D; Officer – Cosmetics to develop, test, and improve cosmetic and personal care products. The candidate will be responsible for formulation development, trials, stability testing, documentation, and coordination with Production and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and formulate new cosmetic and personal care products
- Work on products such as creams, lotions, face wash, shampoo, hair oil, gels, serums, soaps, and other cosmetic formulations
- Conduct laboratory trials and prepare product samples
- Modify formulations based on product performance and requirements
- Conduct stability and compatibility studies
- Select and evaluate raw materials and packaging materials
- Prepare and maintain formulation and R&D; documentation
- Maintain batch trial records and development reports
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and Purchase departments
- Support scale-up and technology transfer from R&D; to production
- Investigate formulation-related problems and suggest improvements




- Ensure formulations meet required quality and safety standards
- Stay updated with new cosmetic ingredients, technologies, and market trends

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation and manufacturing
- Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and their applications
- Understanding of stability testing and formulation evaluation
- Good laboratory and analytical skills
- Solid documentation and problem-solving abilities
- Good knowledge of MS Office

Qualification

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- M.Sc / B.Sc Chemistry
- Cosmetic Science / Pharmaceutical Chemistry preferred

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Cosmetic R&D; / Formulation Development
- Freshers can also apply for Junior R&D; / Trainee positions

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Herbal / Ayurvedic / Natural / Organic Cosmetics
- Knowledge of creams, lotions, shampoos, serums, face wash, gels, etc.
- Experience in product development and scale-up
- Knowledge of cosmetic quality and regulatory requirements
- Creative approach toward new product development

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
