We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a robust background in supplier quality, CMM inspection, quality systems, and machine assembly. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality management, supplier audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in the automation or machine manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in CMM and FARO Arm programming and inspection.
- Perform supplier inspections and quality audits at vendor locations.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement initiatives.
- Resolve machine assembly-related quality issues.
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards.
- Ensure completion and maintenance of QMS documentation.
- Carry out in-process inspections during manufacturing and assembly.
- Plan and maintain calibration of measuring instruments.
- Maintain quality records and department documentation.
- Drive quality improvement using FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Follow up and verify corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Coordinate with production, design, purchase, and other cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
